Jems feelings - 'I used this board first time on a 5.8 in waist to head high waves and was going to go on it for just 15 minutes, an hour and a half later I was very impressed and had a big smile on my face. It planed very early due to its FSW rocker line and and was secure in blasting mode, unlike some shorter boards. It felt so small and easy in the air, great for tweaking out and loops etc. The riding was very vertical as it allowed you to keep speed, even on slow waves. The CD wave also offered me a good platform to wobble out in the lighter winds when i just wanted to catch waves. All this said it is a short board and it is technical to tack, though not impossible and you do need to pop the nose up when climbing out over white water. Light wind wave, bump n jump and freestyle all in a short gold channelled platform - I can't wait to get back out on it!
