    Bit about me:

I used to sail originally and became National champion and vice World Champion in 2005 in the youth Laser 4.7 dinghy class... Then I saw the light.

I learnt at Bewl Windsurfing in 2004 and took part in a bit of T15, winning one or two regattas but never took it seriously. I just got hooked to the lifestyle and the relaxed, positive atmosphere, everyone who windsurfed just seemed to be really happy and friendly. We used to have a Friday or Monday club where I would go after school to hire some kit out for a couple of hours and you could either go to the Friday or the Monday club, I always went to both and sometimes even ventured down on saturdays. I would be the last on the water almost everyday and much to my instructors enjoyment they always got to fly over to the other side of the reservoir in the RIB to tell me to come in. So yeh I was pretty addicted.

I've got so much from the sport, I've met heaps of new people all over the world, some will let me crash at theirs if I need a place to stay, some want to go on road trips to unheard of beaches and others just want to help you get better. I really do owe a lot to the sport and giving back to it is just as enjoyable. I set up Portsmouth Uni Windsurfing Club in my second year here at Uni and now it has 81 members. That got me heavily involved in SWA events, which got me into competition.

Then I met Jem who was raving about the new Twin fin and the Ezzy sails, so I had a go and was super impressed. Then between him and chatting to John Skye on the beach at Tiree I landed my sponsorship with AndyBiggsWatersports and RRD/EZZY, which now includes being a sSs Team Rider.

Mission Statement: Be all I can be and enjoy every moment of it.
