Streamlined Windsurfing was established in 1982 by David Dominy to design and
produce high performance windsurfing components. Back then Dave's first design
was the first, the original, 'Tendon' universal joint. This design has become
the industry standard throughout the world and is arguably the most imitated
design in all of windsurfing.
To this day our own 'Streamlined Tendon' joint has proven over the years to
be the strongest and best performing of them all. After the 'Tendon' joint
came our popular 'Quick-six' downhaul system. Then the all alloy, 'Super-lite'
extensions, and now, the incredible, innovative 'Strap-on' boom heads. As you
get to know Streamlined and our designs you will see performance is our top
priority, second only to durability. Further, our manufacturing quality is
well known, guaranteeing you can't get more for your money. Our ultimate goal

'SUPER-LITE' Extensions
Streamlined 'Super-lite' mast extensions are proven strong and light. Lighter
than many carbon extensions. They feature absolute, positive height settings
and our own powerful 'Quick-six' downhaul system (see below). The 'Super-lites'
are the choice of world cup racers like Micah Buzianis and top wave sailors.
They are made of 48 millimeter anodized aircraft alloy aluminum tubing. This
large diameter is perfect for the ultimate strength to weight ratio. The 'Super-lites'
come in three lengths. All of our extensions feature height settings that can
be set at 2.5 centimeter increments with an ultra slim, precision machined,
hard anodized aluminum collar and a spectra tethered stainless steel pin. Each
has numbered increments and a durable 'Marlow' downhaul line.

People often comment that they finally have the power to downhaul their sail
without help or a device due to the perfect alignment and large diameter sheaves.
The sheaves are either machined of unbreakable brass, or frictionless ball
bearings. The 6 to 1 advantage downhaul system features perfect alignment to
sail tack grommets, tack brackets or our 'Triple-block', to reduce friction.
It is very quick to rig with our unique open access sheave design. The 'Quick-six'
is built of rugged cast aluminum and stainless steel. The 'Quick-six' is engineered
for the most extreme downhaul tension.
